What is the Early Pregnancy-hCG Test for?

It can be hard to identify early pregnancy signs.

Early Pregnancy-hCG Test allows for the early detection of concentration of the hCG hormone in urine, in order to help women determine if pregnant.

Why is this test Ultrasensitive?

During the very first phases of pregnancy, the fertilised egg is carried from the Fallopian tubes to the uterus, where it implants after about seven days. In this phase, the tissue that will eventually form the placenta starts producing Human Chorionic Gonadotropin, also known as the hCG hormone, which is essential for the development and continuation of the pregnancy. The early appearance and rapid increase in the concentration of the hCG hormone in urine make it an excellent marker to confirm the beginning of a pregnancy. Early Pregnancy Test is an ultrasensitive rapid self-test which detects the presence of hCG in urine at very low concentration (10 mIU/mL).

Who should use the Early Pregnancy-hCG test?

The Early Pregnancy-hCG Test is suitable for all women who want to verify the presence of a pregnancy in a simple, quick and safe way as soon as possible.

How does the Early Pregnancy-hCG test work?

The device specifically identifies the hCG hormone and reveals if the concentration of that hormone in the urine is equal to or above 10 mIU/ml.

1) Remove the protective cap – this exposes the absorbing tip.
2) Place the absorbing tip right under the flow of urine for at least 10 seconds.
3) Alternatively (if easier), urine can be collected in a clean, dry, residue-free container (not supplied) and the absorbing tip can be dipped into the urine for 10 seconds.
4) Place the protective cap back onto the absorbing tip. Wait for 5 minutes and read the result.

When should I use the Early Pregnancy-hCG test?

The test can be performed three days before the day your period is due. It is recommended to use the first urine of the morning, though discard the first flow. In the case of a positive result, you should visit your Gynaecologist. It is possible that in the case of a positive result, a pregnancy may not be confirmed later as the result of an early miscarriage.
